Our First Trunk or Treat is Coming to Salida!
La Plazita Montes & Macaroni KID Modesto are teaming up for a spooktacular night of family fun!
Get those costumes ready, because our first ever Trunk or Treat is coming to Salida! 👻🎃
Join La Plazita Montes and Macaroni KID Modesto on Friday, October 30, 2026, for a fun-filled evening where local families can trick-or-treat from creatively decorated trunks, collect goodies, and celebrate Halloween together!
🚗🎃 What is Trunk or Treat?
Instead of going door-to-door, kids can visit a lineup of creatively decorated vehicles and collect candy and goodies along the way!
We're bringing together local businesses, organizations, and community members to decorate their trunks and help make Halloween extra special for Salida families.
👻 We're Keeping It Fun & Family-Friendly!
We're planning for approximately 12–15 decorated trunks, giving families plenty of room to walk around, enjoy the decorations, and safely trick-or-treat without the event feeling overcrowded.
That means more room for little legs, strollers, costumes, photos, and, of course... LOTS OF CANDY! 🍬
Come Ready for Candy!
Participating trunks will be providing candy and goodies for local kids. Businesses are also welcome to bring kid-friendly promotional items, coupons, stickers, or goodie bags to share with families.
Want to Be a Trunk?
Are you a local business, organization, community group, or family who wants to participate?
We're Looking for 12–15 Decorated Trunks!
Trunk participants will need to:
- Decorate your vehicle in a fun, family-friendly Halloween theme.
- Provide enough individually wrapped candy, treats, or giveaways for approximately 200–400 children.
- Arrive between 3:30 PM and 4:45 PM for setup.
- Be fully set up and ready by 5:00 PM.
- Stay for the entire event through 7:00 PM.
This is a fun opportunity to connect with local families! You're welcome to provide branded goodie bags, coupons, stickers, or other kid-friendly promotional items along with your candy.
Ready to Join the Halloween Fun?
Space is limited to just 12–15 trunks, so grab your spot before they're gone!
Local businesses, organizations, community groups, and families are all welcome!
